On our website, you can find door handles and locks in both the Scandinavian and European standards. But what are the differences between these two standards?
Handles
These handles are mounted completely differently than those in the European standard. They have a different screw spacing placed at a 30° angle.
It is not possible to mount these handles on European doors due to the screw spacing; the only way is to install a special additional casing.

Locks
The spindle of a bathroom lock with the Scandinavian standard measures 8x8 mm. In the European standard, the spindle dimensions are 6x6 mm (this is the standard size for European countries - the exception is England, where the spindle size is 5x5 mm).
To be able to install it in the door, you need to add a spindle sized 6x6 and a 6x8 reducer to your order.
