Installation Instructions for a Door Stopper Using a Double-Threaded Screw

• Door stopper with a threaded hole in the base.
• Double-threaded screw (wood thread on one end, M6 or M4 metric thread on the other) and wall plug – included in the kit.
• Drill, drill bit for the surface: Ø 8 mm for an 8 × 40 mm plug (M6 screw) or Ø 6 mm for a 6 × 30 mm plug (M4 screw), pencil, measuring tape, vacuum cleaner.

1. Mark the Mounting Location

• Open the door to the position where it should stop.
• Place a floor stopper approx. 5–10 cm from the edge of the door leaf, so the door rests on it with its edge, not with the handle. Place a wall stopper at handle height.
• Mark the centre of the hole with a pencil.

2. Drill the Hole

• Make sure there are no pipes, cables or underfloor heating at the drilling point.
• Drill a hole with a bit matching the plug, to the plug length + approx. 5 mm (approx. 45 mm for an 8 × 40 mm plug, approx. 35 mm for a 6 × 30 mm plug).
• Remove the dust from the hole.

3. Insert the Plug

• Push the wall plug into the hole until it is flush with the floor or wall surface.

4. Screw the Screw into the Stopper

• Screw the double-threaded screw into the stopper base with the metric thread side, all the way.

5. Fix the Stopper

• Screw the protruding part of the screw into the plug by turning the whole stopper by hand until the base sits flat on the surface.
• Do not use a wrench or pliers – they can scratch the finish.
• Open the door and check that it rests against the rubber part of the stopper.

Clean with a soft, damp cloth with water or a neutral cleaner, then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive or alcohol-based products.
